Volunteer Opportunities
Today's economic climate has created an increased need for our services. To assist clients, HPC depends on volunteers to help
us accomplish our challenging goals. There are a variety of ways for volunteers to contribute, and we are always looking for
new interests, skills and experience.
Volunteer Handbook
We have prepared a Volunteer Handbook that describes
the many opportunities for volunteers to assist in helping our clients. Following is a brief description of the areas in which
we currently need help. Please see the handbook for more detailed descriptions of what each position entails.
Fundraising: program manager, program volunteer, project/program leader.
Publicity: program manager, program volunteer.
Marketing: materials program manager and volunteer, newsletter volunteer, newsletter production volunteer,
website volunteer, graphic art volunteer.
Operations: telephone volunteer, office volunteer, annual mailing project manager and volunteer, food
card expansion and food card distribution managers, grant writing volunteer, building manager and volunteer, furniture
program volunteer, volunteer program volunteer.
Annual Fundraising Events: Volunteer to help with the Gala and with the Housing with Love Walk.
Programs: Volunteer to help with Adopt-a-Family, Backpack Program, Food Gift Card Program.
